That's right. You (might have) heard it here first: Jill and I are expecting our first child August 12th. Jill is presently 13 weeks along and very ready for the first trimester to be over with. Apparently, the second trimester is the "easy" one - relatively speaking - and that technically begins this week.
And so, for all of you, here's a photo of a photo of the little thing taken on January 21st. The quality isn't great, but I can't help it.
We don't know the gender and we don't intend to find out until it is born. Needless to say, we are very excited, but judging by their reactions, the grandparents might be even more so.
